Gildewerk's colour tablets are the most convenient method available for the colouring of candles. Colour tablets consist of paraffin with highly concentrated, ultra-finely prepared candle pigment. Gildewerk produces a standard range of often-used basic colours. Besides these, we also supply frequently varying Trend colours. Use for coloured dipping wax or coloured marble wax/carving wax 12 tablets per kg of paraffin. One or two dips into the coloured wax results in a lovely covering layer. For trough colouring use 1 tablet per kg or 1/2 a tablet per litre wax.TIP: Before filling colour canisters, do the following: place 3 colour tablets of the desired colour into every bowl of the plastic duo-bowl (BAK-00002) and fill these with hot wax. You now have exactly the correct ratio for a small amount of coloured dipping wax. You can let this wax cool and build up a stock of refill blocks in this way. Do not forget to write the colour code on the bowl.
