The EU Soap Quality System was developed by the brothers Michiel and Maarten Teunissen. Founders of Gildewerk BV, European supplier of supplies for traditional soap makers and initiator of the EU Quality System. The system is continuously tried and tested by the control authorities in each European country where our subscribers are located. The Soap Quality System evolves along with the strict legislation of the European Union.

The EU Soap Quality System is based on a division of tasks between the company and Gildewerk. In addition to being hygienic, the company must also work according to Gildewerk’s recipe, keep a logbook and apply characteristics to the soap.
